Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Matthew 9:37-38
Birmingham Chinese Christian Church came to visit us and help serve in the community and at the farm. The days would start off with prayer walks around the community of Clarkston. Through prayer walking we can identify needs in the community and address them with prayer and/or taking action if we can help! We had several service projects going on this week. Whether it was helping the management in the apartment complex or helping at Pastor Bill's farm, a lot was accomplished through this group!

This week was particularly unique for this group because it was the end of Ramadan. For many muslims in the community they were about to celebrate Eid. Some from this group got the chance to visit a local mosque and got to meet the muslims in the community. This brought about the opportunity to learn more about Islam and get to know our muslim neighbors!

Sharing the story of Noah with refugee kids from around the apartment complex that came to play games.

A backyard bible club was also held at the apartment. This brought about the great opportunity to share the gospel with our neighbors in this area. There was laughter shared, many games played, but most importantly questions of what it means to be saved were brought about! What exciting times!
We are so thankful for the seeds planted through backyard bible club by Birmingham Chinese Christian Church! We appreciate all your hard work you put in to making it fun for the kids but also focusing the attention on our Father!
